Two rankings: Service: 5 star, Trent was fantastic Sale Manager on duty Sat July 1: 0 stars, offered no help and left my family sitting outside Here's our situation. On the first day of family vacation with 3 children in the Suburban driving from Allentown Pa to Smith Mtn Lake, VA. About 300 miles into the trip one of the brakes gives out. The tow truck takes us to Bowman Chevy. 'They'll take care of you" the OnStar lady told me. Unfortunately it was 3:00pm on a Saturday so repair and rental car options were limited. Maybe Bowman will help. We are in unfamiliar territory and needed compassion and a hero....we got none. The manager of our Chevy dealership back in PA actually spoke to the Bowman manager. No help. The manager on duty didn't lift a finger to help a fellow Chevy owner when in need. What's more troubling, they didn't help a family with 3 children. Our car was being serviced so could they give a loaner? Nope, the service shop was closed. Can you call them? Nope, they are all gone. Can you simply go a little above and beyond? Nope, not their problem. How about sweep my family out the door at 4pm and lock it behind them leaving them in the car lot. Yes, yes that the manager could do. On the flip side, Trent in the service team was excellent. Got on my car ASAP on monday even after letting me know they were limited in help and time. His team diagnosed the problem, fixed it and got us on our way. Under promised and overdelivered. Fantastic job! Maybe Trent can help that manager on duty with how to treat clients. Your dealership would probably sell more vehicles and if nothing else, maybe make a better impression on other Chevy owners. Scott
